Sari is the founder of The Eleventh Agency™, a private executive advisory practice serving boards, senior executives, regulated institutions, and advisory firms navigating complex matters at the intersection of enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, internal audit, financial crime, governance, investigations, and strategic transformation.
With more than twenty years of experience across internal audit and regulatory compliance, including more than a decade in senior leadership, she brings the combined perspective of a former Big Four consultant, financial services executive, subject-matter expert, investigator, and trusted executive advisor. She has led more than 500 engagements spanning AML and KYC transformation, enterprise risk management, consumer compliance, regulatory examination strategy and remediation, internal audit, emerging products, digital assets, cannabis banking, complex investigations, and executive response development.
Sari is most often engaged when the visible issue is unlikely to represent the full problem: when regulatory, operational, governance, strategic, and human factors have become entangled; when leadership requires an independent assessment of work already performed; or when a technically sound recommendation may still be incomplete, disproportionate, operationally unsustainable, or insufficiently supported by evidence.
Her work extends beyond the identification of risk to supporting leadership in understanding the architecture beneath it: how decisions were made, where ownership shifted, which assumptions remain untested, what dependencies have been overlooked, and how one recommendation may create consequences elsewhere in the enterprise. This approach allows her to challenge prevailing narratives, test the defensibility of findings and remediation strategies, and translate complex conditions into practical decisions that can withstand scrutiny from regulators, auditors, boards, and executive stakeholders.
She is the creator of the Second Set of Eyes Method™, a dual-vantage review discipline that applies both a Regulatory Defense Lens and an Operational Risk Lens to findings, remediation plans, executive narratives, governance decisions, and strategic initiatives. The methodology evaluates not only whether a position is technically correct, but whether it is evidentially supported, proportionate, sustainable, operationally viable, and appropriately integrated with the broader enterprise risk and control environment.
Sari is also retained to review and challenge internal and external advisory work product, including Big Four deliverables, for regulatory applicability, evidentiary sufficiency, vulnerability, internal consistency, operational feasibility, and Statement of Work alignment.
